No. All of the items protected by your plan must be in working order prior to the effective date of your plan. You cannot knowingly enroll an inoperable or broken appliance into a plan and have it repaired or replaced by CP™.
No. Each CP™ plan protects one (1) of each appliance listed. If you have additional heating/cooling unit(s), you MUST add them to your plan at an additional cost, or specify which unit you would like to protect upon enrollment. If you fail to add the additional unit(s) to your plan and do not designate which system you would like to protect when you enroll, CP™ will protect the unit responsible for heating/cooling the kitchen by default.
If protecting your existing home, there is a 30 day wait before you are eligible for repairs or service. If you are purchasing a home, the protection starts as soon as closing has occurred, pending payment.
Yes. CP™ is happy to offer protection for rental properties. Please note that tenant-occupied properties are subject to an additional $5 per month fee. This fee is in addition to the price of the plan chosen.

If you have high-end appliances, this option doubles the replacement reimbursement amount towards the five major appliances washer, dryer, dishwasher, range, and refrigerator. It also earns those appliances increased consideration for expensive repairs.
There are no hard limits on the repair of appliances. We look at the history of the appliance and what the service tech says about the appliance to determine if an item should be repaired or replaced. However, for the septic, plumbing, and electrical protection there is a $1,000 limit for each system in a twelve month period.
Maybe. Refunds are calculated based on a prorated formula. The prorated amount, less claims paid on the account, and less a $25 processing fee would yield the refund total. If the claims total exceeds the payment total, you would not be entitled to a refund.
CP™ does not offer any protection for the following items: anything structural (including roofs), ductwork, humidifiers, sprinkler systems, spa tubs, or sump pumps.
No, the purchase of the CP™ Home Protection Plan is solely the decision of the buyer or seller of the house.
Absolutely! You may upgrade your plan or add items to your existing plan any time. There will be a 30-day waiting period for any items that have been added. You may remove add-on items from your plan as long as Complete Protection has not approved repairs or replacement of the item.
